Manufacturer or importer?
According to the regulatory framework set forth in the Quality Infrastructure Law, testing laboratories such as SERVICIOS DE ANÁLISIS TECNICOS, S.A. DE C.V., are considered in Art. 53, section two, as one of the Conformity Assessment Bodies.
This allows SEATSA to be important for your manufacturing projects because it is an accredited third-party laboratory, so you will be able to obtain reliable information on the manufactured products, considering the laboratory’s accredited resource in the electrical and electronic branch. This will allow you to ensure that your products comply with the Official Mexican Standards (NOM) and can be marketed in the national territory (if you want to enter international markets, ask our customer service team).
For importers
If you are an importer, SEATSA will be your best option, since we have the equipment, the installed capacity, technical and human resources to carry out the tests that your product requires and obtain the NOM certificate.
We have our own product Certification Agency (SEATSA OCP) which will allow you a comprehensive service and you can also obtain your certificate of conformity and begin marketing your products in Mexican territory.
In addition, we can provide you with the best recommendation in accordance with the Official Mexican Standards, having the best strategies so that your merchandise does not generate extra costs at customs and thus comply with current foreign trade regulations.
